A group of friends from Sevenoaks in Kent have raised £1,030 for Harrison’s Fund, a charity that supports research into the life limiting disease, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Jane Rogers, Maria Grazia Wrigley, Karen Brouard and Alex Glenister held a Shopping Day selling exclusive Villabella Italian ceramics.
Alex Smith, founder of Harrison’s Fund and dad of Harrison said: Thank you to Maria, Karen and Alex for taking the time to put on this wonderful event. Fundraisers like this not only raise vital monies for the charity but also spread the word about the disease, which not many people know about, and will hopefully encourage them to support us in our mission too. We are so grateful them for this.”
